【摘要】:Thistestmethodcoversthethermogravimetric(TGA)determinationofairreactivityanddustingofshapedcarbonanodesandcathodeblocksusedinthealuminumreductionindustry.Theapparatusselectioncoversasignificantvarietyoftypeswithvariousthermalconditions,samplesizecapability,materialsofconstruction,andproceduresfordeterminingthemasslossandsubsequentrateofreaction.Thistestmethodstandardizesthevariablesofsampledimensions,reactiontemperature,gasvelocityovertheexposedsurfaces,andreactiontimesuchthatresultsobtainedondifferentapparatusesarecorrelatable.ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
