【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoverstheestablishmentofrequirementsforhomopolymersofvinylchlorideinoriginalpowderformintendedforsubsequentmixingandprocessinginthermoplasticcompositions.Theseresinshaveanominalspecificgravityof1.4andatheoreticalchlorinecontentof56.8%.1.2Twotypesofresinhavebeenrecognized:generalpurposeanddispersion.Whenmixedwiththecustomaryamountofplasticizer,general-purposeresinsyieldadryormoistpowderwhiledispersionresinsyieldaliquidslurry.Sincemanyresinsarepolymerizedtomeetspecialrequirements,asystemofclassificationhasbeenprovidedthatpermitsawidechoiceofgrades.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Note18212;Thisstandardissimilarincontent(butnottechnicallyequivalent)toISO1264-1980.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyproblems,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
